FAMILY THERAPY
Family therapy is a transformative process that holds the power to heal and strengthen relationships within a family unit. It goes beyond individual counseling, recognizing that an individual's well-being is deeply interconnected with the dynamics and interactions within their family system. Through a compassionate and collaborative approach, family therapy aims to assist individuals and families in navigating challenges and deepening their connections.

Family Therapy isn't a one-size-fits-all solution.
Some therapists may require all parties involved to be in the room at each therapy session. We offer flexibility when it comes to who needs to be present at every session. Working with families also means working with different constellations of the family like just parents or just siblings.
We're here to help you effectively express yourself to your family - fostering mutual understanding and enabling personal growth together. Let’s find a way to help you resolve conflicts and cultivate deep, lasting bonds with your family.

What if I just need to vent - is that therapy?Venting is normal human behavior but it’s not part of therapy. While client autonomy is extrememly important, therapy isn’t just a place to vent where you want someone to provide feedback or suggestions and guidance. While everyone’s needs are different, therapy is great for tackling hard areas of your life that are hindering you from moving forward and growing as a person.

My last therapist was awful, why should I try it again?Sometimes it takes a while to find the right therapist - it can be a lot of trial and error. That’s why we aim to match you with a therapist that will be good fit for you and your needs. Therapy is different for everyone. We try to strike a balance with my clients where we may push those who are complacent and allow space for people who are too hard on themselves. Your mental health provider should be flexible in their approach and we try to do exactly that with each client.
