SHE/HER
I believe that compassion is at the heart of lasting change. Whether you are navigating intrapersonal, interpersonal, or intergenerational challenges, my goal as a therapist is to journey alongside you in gaining new insights, deepening emotional experiences, and exploring new dynamics in your relationships.
As a cisgender, second-generation Asian-American woman born and raised in Northern California, my richly layered, intercultural upbringing informs my worldview and therapeutic approach. I intentionally create space for clients to explore their intersectional identities and experiences. In our work together, I will honor your expertise in your own life, acknowledge your creative survival strategies, and prioritize maintaining felt safety in our therapeutic relationship. My role is not to “fix” you, but to support you and your relationships through discomfort and toward the inherent human desires for connection, belonging, and healing.
I specialize in working with clients who seek to understand and embrace their complex identities. With an approach rooted in empathy and cultural humility, I aim to create a therapeutic environment that is inclusive and responsive to your unique needs.
Outside of my role as a therapist, I find joy in reading fiction and memoirs, rewatching early 2000s movies, and hosting dinner parties. I am dedicated to organizing my life around spiritual balance, loving boundaries, and community care, which I believe are essential components of personal well-being. This commitment to balance and community enriches my work, allowing me to bring a grounded and holistic perspective to our sessions.
